02 · Calendars & hearing dates
Anoka County Court Calendars & Hearing Information
How to find a scheduled Anoka County hearing, check a court date and keep track of changes. Your official court notice and Court Administration are always the final word on a case-specific appearance.
Find the Official Anoka Court Calendar
The Minnesota Judicial Branch posts the Anoka County daily court calendar as a searchable PDF — search it for your name or your attorney's name.
- Anoka's calendar is posted at 7:00 PM for hearings the next day.
- Hearings, judges and courtrooms can change.
- Confidential and restricted cases aren't listed.
- It doesn't include every matter the court handles.
- It isn't the court's signing-judge (after-hours) schedule.
Verify a Scheduled Court Appearance
Court Administration: 763-760-6700
Scheduling: 763-760-6575
Your hearing notice and court orders are the authoritative source. Confirm:
- Case number
- Hearing date and time
- Courtroom and location
- In-person or remote format
- Any current court orders
At the courthouse, check the Court Assignment monitors — the public PDF never overrides your notice.
Minnesota Court Records Online
MCRO offers Case, Document, Hearing and Judgment searches for many public Anoka County records.
Pending criminal cases generally don't appear in a defendant-name search — use the case number, citation number, attorney name or attorney bar number. No result doesn't prove no case exists.
Remote Court Hearings
Some hearings are remote and others require you in the courthouse. Your official notice sets the format, and participants must follow the court's technology and conduct rules.
- Remote participation is never guaranteed.
- Use only connection details the court sends you.
Hearing eReminders
Eligible case participants can sign up for optional text or email reminders from the Minnesota Judicial Branch. In most eligible cases, one comes three days before and another one day before. GPS doesn't run this system.
- Some case types are excluded.
- Reminders are a courtesy only.
- Missing a reminder doesn't excuse missing court.
Rescheduling & Calendar Changes
Scheduling: 763-760-6575
Court Administration: 763-760-6700
The court controls hearing schedules; dates, judges and courtrooms can change. If you can't attend, contact your attorney and the court promptly.
- Attorneys can help with case-specific requests.
- Court Administration can explain the right procedure.
- Asking for a continuance doesn't mean it's granted — keep your date until the court says otherwise.
What If Your Anoka County Court Date Does Not Appear?
Not finding a hearing on the Anoka calendar or in MCRO doesn't mean it was canceled. Common reasons include:
- That day's calendar isn't posted yet (it goes up at 7:00 PM the evening before).
- The hearing was changed or rescheduled.
- The matter is confidential or restricted.
- The search details were incorrect or incomplete.
- The hearing isn't publicly displayed.
- Only your notice, the court or your attorney can confirm it.
Do not assume your court appearance has been canceled simply because it is absent from the public calendar or MCRO.

- A bench warrant
- Changes to release conditions
- Bond-related consequences

05 · Bail, release & court responsibilities
Anoka County Court Bail & Release Information
The court decides bail and release conditions; the Jail or Workhouse holds people in custody and processes release. Here's how an Anoka County court's bail decision connects to posting bail or a bond — and why court obligations continue afterward.
Who Determines Bail & Release Conditions?
The court or another applicable legal authority sets bail and release conditions in an Anoka County case. Financial bail isn't required in every case, some conditions are nonfinancial, and surety bonds are available only where legally authorized and approved. GPS cannot set or change bail.
Court-Set Bail vs. Bond Premium
Five different things — not interchangeable:Court-set bail — the amount or condition set by the appropriate legal authority.Direct cash bail — funds posted under accepted government procedures.A commercial surety bond — backed by an approved surety, where permitted. The premium — the charge for the surety service.Collateral — additional security, when required.

Release Conditions & Future Court Dates
Posting bail doesn't end court obligations: scheduled appearances and court-imposed restrictions stay in effect, and other holds can affect release. Jail or Workhouse staff control processing, and sentenced Workhouse residents may follow different release procedures. No release time is guaranteed.Official Workhouse page (opens an official external site)

Minnesota Bond Premium Rules

- The premium follows the rate the surety has filed and had approved in Minnesota.
- The statutory minimum premium is $100.
- Bonds of $10,000 or less: at least 50% of the premium is collected before posting; any balance is repaid within four months.
- Bonds over $10,000: at least 30% of the premium is collected before posting; any balance is repaid within at most 12 months.
- Any balance needs a signed promissory note. No financing or payment plan is guaranteed.
- Collateral and cosigner requirements depend on the circumstances.
