Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Use govern your use of gpsbailbonds.com (the "Site"), operated by Guardian Pretrial Services, LLC, doing business as GPS Bail Bonds ("GPS," "we," "us" or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Who We Are
GPS Bail Bonds is a Minnesota bail bond agency based in Big Lake, Sherburne County. We are not a government agency, court, jail, sheriff's office or law firm, and we are not affiliated with any of them.
Informational Content Only
County, city, jail, court and inmate-search pages on the Site are general information gathered from public and official sources. Addresses, phone numbers, hours, visiting rules, rosters and procedures change without notice. Always confirm details with the official agency before you travel, pay or rely on them. Links to official inmate locators and court records go to government websites that we do not operate.
No Legal Advice
Nothing on the Site, and nothing a GPS agent tells you, is legal advice. GPS agents are not attorneys. For advice about charges, court dates, release conditions or your rights, speak with a licensed Minnesota attorney or the public defender's office.
Bail Bond Services
- Bail amounts and release conditions are set by the court, not by GPS.
- A bail bond is written only after underwriting approval and a signed written agreement. Premiums follow the rates filed with the Minnesota Department of Commerce and Minnesota law, including Minn. Stat. § 60M.02. The signed agreement controls over anything on the Site.
- Calculators and examples on the Site are estimates for information only, not quotes or offers.
- We cannot guarantee release or release timing. After a bond is posted, the jail completes its own release process, and other cases, holds or court orders can delay or prevent release.
- Submitting a form or calling us does not create a bail bond agreement or obligate either of us.
Calls and Text Messages
If you give us your phone number and agree on our form, GPS Bail Bonds may call and text you, including with automated technology, about your bail inquiry. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel texts at any time; you may receive one message confirming you have opted out. Reply HELP for help, or call (763) 288-2581. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your number.
Your Responsibilities
- Give us accurate information, and only information you have the right to share.
- Do not use the Site for unlawful purposes, to harass anyone, or to submit false or fraudulent requests.
- Do not try to disrupt, overload, scrape or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems.
Third-Party Links and Content
The Site links to and displays content from other websites and services, such as government agencies, Google Maps and Google reviews. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability or privacy practices.
Intellectual Property
The Site's text, design, logos and graphics belong to GPS or its licensors and may not be copied or reused for commercial purposes without written permission. Third-party photos are used under their stated licenses. Government seals and names belong to their respective agencies and do not imply endorsement.
Disclaimer
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, GPS disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GPS and its owners, agents and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its information. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Minnesota law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when they last changed. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
