Who We Are
GPS Bail Bonds is a Minnesota bail bond agency based in Big Lake, Sherburne County, serving families throughout Minnesota. We are not a government agency, court, jail or law firm.

When you use our request form, call, text or email us, we may collect:

- The name of the person in custody, and optionally their date of birth or approximate age.
- Where the person was arrested or is being held, and any bail, court or case details you choose to share.
- Anything else you include in a message or tell us on a call.
If you become a client or cosigner, we collect the additional information needed to underwrite and write a bail bond. That information is covered by the written agreements you sign with us.
Consent records
When you check the consent box on our form, we record that you checked it, the consent wording shown to you, and the date and time of your submission.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site we, and the service providers we use, may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the page that referred you, and campaign tags in the link you followed (for example UTM parameters).
How We Use Information
- To respond to your request and help locate the person in custody.
- To explain bail options and provide, underwrite and administer bail bond services.
- To contact you by phone, text message or email about your inquiry.
- To keep records required for our business and by law.
- To operate, secure and improve the Site and understand how visitors use it.
- To prevent fraud, abuse and unlawful activity.
Calls, Text Messages and Email
If you give us your phone number and check the consent box, you agree that GPS Bail Bonds may call and text you, including with automated technology, and email you about your bail inquiry. When you submit our website form with an email address, we may send one confirmation email to that address to let you know we received your request. Replies to that email come directly to GPS Bail Bonds.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except service providers that send messages on our behalf.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to serve you and run our business:
- Service providers that work for us, such as website hosting, customer-management software, phone, text-message and email delivery services, and analytics. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Courts, jails and sureties when needed to post, manage or exonerate a bond you have asked us to write.

Information About Other People
When you tell us about someone else, such as a person in custody, please share only what is needed for your request. Public booking and court information comes from official government sources, and we do not control those records.
Cookies, Analytics and Embedded Content
The Site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our pages. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies. You can learn how Google uses this data at Google's partner-sites page and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Some pages show content from other providers, such as Google Maps and a Google reviews widget. Those providers may collect information about your visit under their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the Site may not work as intended if you do.
Data Retention
Requests submitted through our website form are kept for up to 180 days and then deleted automatically, unless the request becomes an active bail case, is subject to a legal hold, or must be kept longer to meet another legal or business record-keeping requirement. Information about clients and cosigners is kept for as long as needed to administer the bond and meet our legal obligations, and then deleted or de-identified.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information. No website, transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices and Rights
- You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
- You can ask us to stop calling or emailing you about an inquiry.
- Depending on applicable law, including the Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act where it applies, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct or delete it. We may need to verify your identity, and we may keep information we are legally required to keep.
