01
St. Francis Area Service
GPS Bail Bonds assists St. Francis families by phone and online. Our business location is in the Big Lake area of Sherburne County — GPS has no St. Francis office — and we work independently of every agency involved.
02
Available 24/7
Call (763) 288-2581 or send the form any time. GPS answers around the clock; St. Francis City Hall, Court Administration in Anoka and Cambridge, and county offices keep their own hours.
03
Police, Jail & Court Guidance
St. Francis Police works from St. Francis Boulevard NW. Custody and court resources may be in Anoka (Anoka County) or Cambridge (Isanti County), depending on where the person is held and where the case is filed.
04
Clear Premium & Paperwork Information
We explain the difference between the bail amount and the filed premium, payment arrangements, what a cosigner takes on and when collateral might be requested — before you commit to anything.
05
Eligible Surety Bond Assistance
When the court authorizes a surety bond and underwriting is met, GPS can discuss Minnesota bond options with you. Approval is not automatic, and GPS cannot change a court decision.
06
Minnesota Statewide Coverage
GPS serves eligible cases across Minnesota — Anoka and Isanti counties included. The court handling the case and the authorized bond terms still have to be confirmed.
St. Francis has its own municipal police department. St. Francis Police, a Sheriff's deputy, the Minnesota State Patrol on Highway 47 or another agency with jurisdiction may handle an arrest or citation. Some people are cited and released without being booked.

Step 2 of 6
Confirm Custody and the Responsible County
Find out whether the person is at Anoka County Jail in Anoka, Isanti County Jail in Cambridge, another facility, or already released. A St. Francis address does not by itself establish the county — use each county's official custody information.
03
03
Step 3 of 6
Verify Court-Set Bail and Release Conditions
Confirm the correct court case and the authorized bail amount. Anoka County cases are handled by Anoka County District Court; Isanti County cases by Isanti County District Court in Cambridge. The official case record or court notice controls.

Step 4 of 6
Contact GPS and Review Eligible Options
Call (763) 288-2581 with whatever you know. GPS explains eligible surety bonds, the applicable premium, the paperwork and possible payment options. Bond approval is never guaranteed.
05
05
Step 5 of 6
Complete Premium, Paperwork and Underwriting
Identification, a signed agreement, premium collection, a promissory note, a cosigner or collateral may be required, as Minnesota law and the surety's underwriting require — with a receipt for every payment.
06
06
Step 6 of 6
Post an Authorized Bond and Follow Court Requirements
After an authorized bond is accepted, the custodial authority processes the release. Other holds or an intercounty transfer can prevent or delay it. Every future hearing and court condition remains binding.
Statewide GPS guides for St. Francis families looking at bail options in a case filed in Anoka or Isanti County. The order is fixed and is not a ranking of local offenses.
Not every charge is eligible for bail, and no amounts are guaranteed — the court decides in each case.
05 · Costs
What Bail Bonds Cost in St. Francis
St. Francis does not have a separate city bail amount or premium schedule. The District Court handling the case — Anoka County in Anoka or Isanti County in Cambridge — determines monetary bail and release conditions, while Minnesota's filed-rate and statutory rules govern commercial surety premiums statewide.
Court-Set Bail vs. Bond Premium
The court sets the bail amount. Paying it directly in cash is one option. A surety bond instead costs a premium — a fee paid to the bail bond agency that is not returned at the end of the case. Minnesota Criminal Procedure Rule 6 ↗ (opens an external site)
Filed Surety Rates & Minimum Upfront Payment
Under Minn. Stat. §60M.02, premiums follow rates filed with the Minnesota Department of Commerce. Bonds of $10,000 or less require at least 50% of the premium collected before posting; bonds greater than $10,000 require at least 30% collected before posting. Any unpaid premium balance requires the applicable approved, signed promissory note and the statutory repayment terms. The statutory minimum premium remains $100. Minnesota §60M.02 — Bail Bond Premiums ↗ (opens an external site)
Promissory Note & Repayment
Any unpaid premium balance is put in writing, with a payment schedule and any allowed interest. The signer is responsible for that balance regardless of how the case ends. The same §60M.02 rules above govern premium payment.
Use the court-set bond amount from the jail or court.
Estimates are for informational purposes only and are not a binding quote or financing offer. Actual premiums are based on the applicable approved surety rate. Payment arrangements depend on eligibility, underwriting, and Minnesota law. Call GPS Bail Bonds for a case-specific quote.

06 · Jails & custody
St. Francis Jails & Custody Information
St. Francis has its own police department but no jail or court. Because a small northeastern part of the city lies in Isanti County, a St. Francis arrest does not automatically establish which jail is holding someone or which District Court has the case — check the responsible county's official custody information and confirm directly with the facility.

St. Francis City Hall3750 Bridge Street NWSt. Francis, MN 55070763-753-2630
St. Francis operates its own full-time municipal police department, with patrol officers available around the clock; the city is not served only by the Anoka County Sheriff's Office. The police office is not a jail and its administrative line is not a custody hotline. For non-emergency officer help the City lists Anoka County Dispatch; in an emergency, call 911.
Anoka County Workhouse (separate facility): 763-324-4860
In the City of Anoka, south of St. Francis. Operated by the Anoka County Sheriff's Office as the county's primary booking and intake facility; it mainly houses people who have not been sentenced. The Anoka County Workhouse (Rum River Human Services Center, 3300 4th Avenue N., Anoka) is a separate minimum-security facility mainly for sentenced adults — it is not where an initial booking happens.
Operated by the Isanti County Sheriff's Office. The Sheriff's staff directory lists Master Control as 763-689-2397, while the county's Contact Us page shows 763-691-2397 — the conflict is unresolved, so use the Sheriff's general line if a number doesn't connect. Isanti County custody may apply to a matter in the city's small Isanti County portion or to an Isanti County case or warrant; confirm with the facility.
Handles criminal and traffic matters filed in Anoka County, including applicable St. Francis cases. Judges decide bail and release conditions; GPS does not set bail amounts or hearing schedules. The Court Bail & Bonds line is for court bail questions — it is not an automatic phone-payment service, so confirm the authorized payment location and accepted methods first.
Isanti County · Cambridge
Isanti County District Court
Isanti County Courthouse555 18th Avenue SWCambridge, MN 55008Court Administration: 763-290-7020
Handles cases filed in Isanti County. Both courts belong to Minnesota's Tenth Judicial District. Which court has a St. Francis case must be confirmed from the official case record and hearing notices — neither county handles every case from the city.
Check both counties' official records if custody is unknown: the Anoka County Inmate Locator and the Isanti County In Custody list. An absence from one list does not prove no arrest occurred, and a recent booking may not appear yet. St. Francis Police and City Hall are not booking desks.
Isanti County Sheriff's Office general line: 763-689-2141
An arrest and a jail booking are different events. Booking — at Anoka County Jail in Anoka, Isanti County Jail in Cambridge or another facility, depending on the case — involves confirming identity, custody screening and records processing, so a recent arrest may not appear right away. No booking time is guaranteed, and a citation does not automatically mean someone was booked.
03
Official Inmate Search
Anoka County's official Inmate Locator covers people currently held in the Jail or the Workhouse, plus people released from either facility in the past 30 days; some records note a transfer to another facility. A recent-release record does not mean the person is still in custody. GPS does not operate the locator or control custody data. Anoka County's locator does not cover Isanti County custody; the Isanti County Sheriff's Office publishes its own In Custody list.
The court handling the case — Anoka County District Court or Isanti County District Court — decides release conditions. It may release someone without money bail, on conditions, with money bail, or a combination. Verify both the correct court and the custodial agency; conditions still apply after any bond is posted.
05
Cash Bail vs. Surety Bond
Cash bail paid directly to the government, as the court authorizes, is different from a surety premium paid to a bail bond agency, which is not returned. Procedures are set by the county holding the person and the court handling the case, and GPS has not confirmed either county's complete cash-bail procedure — call the facility (Anoka Jail Division 763-324-5100, or Isanti County's jail) to confirm the authorized payment location and accepted methods before traveling or paying.
A warrant, another case, a probation-related restriction, an intercounty transfer or another agency's hold can keep someone in custody after bail is posted on the St. Francis matter — and the court case and current custody may involve different counties. GPS cannot remove those restrictions or promise a release time. See our Warrant and Probation Violation guides.
Court dates
Court Appearance Information
Anoka County District Court (Anoka) handles cases filed in Anoka County, and Isanti County District Court (Cambridge) handles cases filed in Isanti County; both belong to the Tenth Judicial District. The official case notice identifies the required court. Minnesota Court Records Online shows certain case information but is not a jail roster or a complete warrant check, and some pending criminal name searches are restricted. Public calendars can change — confirm each appearance from official notices. Missing a required hearing can lead to a warrant and other serious consequences.

Yes. Call (763) 288-2581 or use the form at any hour, including nights, weekends and holidays. GPS helps by phone and online, works independently of every government agency, and has no St. Francis office.
Mostly Anoka County. City planning material notes that the vast majority of the city's area and population is in Anoka County, while a small northeastern spur crosses into Isanti County. The county boundary is useful context, but it does not by itself establish where someone is held or which court has the case.
Yes. The St. Francis Police Department is a full-time municipal agency at 4058 St. Francis Boulevard NW, with patrol officers available 24 hours a day. Its office line is 763-753-1264; for non-emergency officer help the City lists Anoka County Dispatch at 763-427-1212, and in an emergency call 911.
If booked, usually at Anoka County Jail (325 Jackson Street, Anoka) for an Anoka County matter, or at Isanti County Jail (509 18th Avenue SW, Cambridge) for an Isanti County matter — or at another facility on another agency's case. Some people are cited and released instead. Confirm present custody with the facility.
Check both official lists — the Anoka County Inmate Locator and the Isanti County In Custody list — and call the facility if you're unsure. Where the incident happened, which agency made the arrest and whether a warrant came from another county all matter; the city name alone doesn't decide it.
Yes — most commonly. Anoka County Jail's Jail Division is at 325 Jackson Street in Anoka (763-324-5100). The county's locator also covers the separate Workhouse and people released in the past 30 days.
It can — for example, a matter in the city's small Isanti County portion, or an Isanti County case or warrant. Isanti County Jail is at 509 18th Avenue SW in Cambridge. Master Control is listed as 763-689-2397 (a county page shows 763-691-2397); if neither connects, use the Sheriff's general line, 763-689-2141.
Use the Anoka County Inmate Locator and the Isanti County In Custody list. They are separate systems — neither covers the other county — and both can lag behind a booking. GPS doesn't operate either list.
It depends on where the case is filed. Anoka County cases go to Anoka County District Court, 2100 3rd Avenue, Anoka (763-760-6700); Isanti County cases go to Isanti County District Court, 555 18th Avenue SW, Cambridge (763-290-7020). Both are in the Tenth Judicial District, and the official case notice controls.
Ask the facility holding the person what is on record, and confirm court-case bail with the court that has the case — Anoka County Court Administration (763-760-6700) or Court Bail & Bonds (763-760-6540), or Isanti County Court Administration (763-290-7020). Neither county's court line is an automatic phone-payment service.
The premium follows the rate the surety has filed with Minnesota regulators under §60M.02, with a $100 minimum. There is no universal percentage and no St. Francis price list; the court sets the bail amount itself.
Often, yes. A cosigner signs an agreement taking on financial responsibility if the defendant misses court and may be asked for identification or collateral details. Any payment arrangement follows Minnesota's §60M.02 minimums and requires a signed promissory note; it is never guaranteed.
Yes. Someone held in one county on a case or warrant from the other — or with a probation-related restriction or another agency's hold — may stay in custody after bail is posted on one matter, or be transferred. GPS cannot remove a hold or guarantee a release time; ask the facility which holds apply.
Anything you know: full legal name, date of birth or approximate age, where in or near St. Francis it happened (and the county, if known), the arresting agency, and any booking, charge, court or bail details. Gaps are fine — you don't need to know which county has the case to ask for help.
